The White Ranch was purchased “in fee” by ALT in 2023 with funds from the U.S. Department of Defense (National Guard Bureau). The federal government provided funds to ALT to purchase 80 + acres on Indian Valley Road (Monterey County) near San Miguel to help to preserve the open space areas near Camp Roberts from developers. ALT will own this cattle ranch in perpetuity to comply with the requirements of the Congressionally authorized contract that it has with the National Guard Bureau.
