RIO FARMS – PETIT RANCH

By partnering with the Packard Foundation and the Department of Conservation, the Ag Land Trust has been able to collaborate with the Owners on a number of agricultural conservation easements thereby ensuring this and other prime irrigated land will remain in agricultural production.  Since the Farm lies just outside the city limits of King City it, like a lot of farms in the Salinas Valley was vulnerable to developmental pressures.
